Lake Charlevoix got Zamboni’d by a freak warming spell that put temperatures in the 50’s (that’s Fahrenheit), and melted the snow all away. It left behind great, wide puddles of water that quickly froze with our latest cold spell. Now, if the ice is thick enough – and it should be – well, we might end up with some good ice. Here’s a video I made a few years back, with original music, of what happens when there’s good ice in Boyne City, Michigan.
